HOW TO CLEAN CAR SEATS
We’ll show you it’s easy it is to clean your car seats from stains and spills, created by spilled drinks, pets and food. Focusing on fabric car seats and materials you will get the confidence to make a big difference to the inside of your car.
WHAT YOU NEED
Thankfully it’s pretty easy to remove most stains or refresh your car seat quickly, easily and cheaply.
Firstly, grab yourself a bottle of Autoglym Interior Shampoo. This mild alkalis cleaner is designed specifically for the variety of interior surfaces including fabric, plastics and rubbers found inside your car.
You will need a small clean sponge as well as a clean microfibre. WORD OF WARNING: Be sure not to use cheap coloured microfibres as the red colour can sometimes transfer. We suggest an Autoglym Interior Microfibre which gives you a shorter tougher twill to work into carpet and seat fabrics.
HOW TO APPLY
Very simple. For a quick refresh of fabrics just lightly spray all car seats and wipe with a damp sponge to agitate the Interior Shampoo into the fabric. Once covered, wipe over with a clean microfibre cloth to remove any excess and speed up the drying process.
For heavily contaminated seats or fabrics, follow the same procedure but focusing a little more product on the affected area. Allow the product to do the work in breaking down the contaminant and bond by gently rubbing the area. You will see a marked difference quickly, even on most dried stains. For really stubborn areas, you may need to re-apply to complete.
IT’S REALLY SAFE
Interior Shampoo is one of the products that you can’t go wrong with. If you overspray, spray too much or spray the wrong material – just wipe it down with a damp cloth.
THE RESULTS
With the variety of contamination we have seen on car seats, we may as well just show you how good it works.
CONCLUSION
Don’t continue to put up with dirty car seats. It’s easy to clean your car seats and bring back the new car feel again.
